Store Happenings 1/24 Review

Happy Tuesday everyone! We hope you had a great weekend! We know we had a great week of gaming fun. Check out everything that happened!

Hobby Night

Wednesday’s craft day saw many projects worked on in the comfort of the shop, including some of the shop terrain. The Necromunda boards are looking better as a result, as others players progress on getting their forces battle ready.

Star Wars Legion Night

Thursday’s Legion night had 2 very thematic games: Clones vs Droids, and Rebels vs Empire. Adjusting to the rules updates has been a challenge, but that's where having several players in the room helps out. Our newest player is seeming to enjoy the clone synergies, even as imperial players eagerly await the arrival of Moff Gideon and Dark Troopers.

Necromunda: Gangers' Paradise

This last week saw Gang warfare escalate with several Gang Leaders getting captured, or even killed. With the grudges piling high, 3 gangs battled it out at an abandoned vault, using a rogue Am-bot to try and break down the vault doors. The battle was brutal, and resulted in none of the three gangs entering the vault. As we move into week 2, there are a few gangs to keep an eye on; The Pow-Pow Harpies have shown that size means little when you have chemical weapons on your side, while the Silent Choir seems to be pouring out of the walls and catching many opponents unawares. Phidippus Audax is aggressively expanding behind powerful Van Saar tech and looks poised to carve out a new niche for themselves in the underhive.

D&D recap

This week saw our adventures continue their trek through the swamp. Despite more mysterious warnings, and ever present monster attacks that now included zombies, they made their way to a castle hidden in the swamp.

Well.. that is it for this week! We can't wait to see what shenanigans we get up to in the coming week! No matter what game you want to join us for - we hope you will come on in to the store! We love getting to play and watch all the games. So weather you are looking for a 40k game, and Age of Sigmar rival, a Star Wars rebel to fight, or just some tips and tricks for painting - come on in and join us!
