Hobby Night
This hobby night saw 4 of us painting Battletech lances. The miniatures take to contrasts and speed paints really well, and provide a myriad of textures for custom paint schemes and styles.
Star Wars Legion Night
Legion Night saw an 800 point match between Rebel forces and the Separatists Droid army. The match was a back-and-forth slugfest that saw Jin Erso and Sabine Wren take on Count Dooku in an attempt to steal supplies. Almost in an early celebration of the release of Asajj Ventress, the Separatist forces routed the Rebels and claimed victory.
Necromunda week 9
In the penultimate week of Necromunda has seen the underhive erupt in the most brutal battles yet. More than 5 characters have died, with memorable deaths being the root cause. Gang Ratings have spiked in both directions, as players have risked more to attempt to finish at the top.
D&D recap
2 different campaigns took place this week.
Friday evening saw our seven adventures return to a city under siege. The hostile northern tribes are rounding up VIP's and our brave adventures came home to find their castle in ruins. With strained alliances and multiple confrontations with the Northern army, our adventures are pulling all sorts of shenanigans to stay one step ahead of those who wish them dead.
Sunday saw a heist one-shot led by Jason, a DM who wanted to test out the most recent 5e book, "Keys from the Golden Vault". The rag-tag group attempted to steal an egg from a museum before it hatched. This resulted in a botched recon mission and an even crazier heist attempt, complete with a shirt from the museum gift shop.
