Hobby Night
Hobby Night happens wherever we are, and with a variety of projects. Some hobbyists spent this night on Blood Bowl teams, in anticipation of the stores third season event. Others found themselves painting up BattleTech mechs. Myself, I chose to finish up Venom for Marvel Crisis Protocol, as he is a fan favorite model, and at home in both Spider-Foes and Web-Warrior lists.
Star Wars Legion Night
Legion night saw a fun, yet crazy Rebel v Rebel skirmish with Leia and Chewbacca taking on the Daimyo Boba Fett. In addition to two squads of tauntauns just running the board, (they are quite good), and Boba miscalculating a charge to unleash his dual flamethrowers (pro tip: don't do that), Boba's forces were wiped out save for 1 Rebel Trooper. Leia and Chewie won the day.
Marvel Crisis Protocol Demos
In gearing up for the Marvel Crisis Protocol Demo day, several people have tested and played the game. Be on the lookout for an upcoming blog specifically about the game.
Inaugural X-Wing Night
The First X-wing night went well, as we branch into piloting various star ships through asteroid and debris fields, while dogfighting and dropping seismic bombs. This event will continue every other Friday evening opposite of D&D.
