Blood Bowl: Lizardmen and Tomb Kings
The returning Undead Champions Korpse-a Kai faced off against the mighty Shockers in a blood bowl league match that could have gone either way!
The Amazons showed up a little worse for wear, as it looked like they had been attacked before the blood bowl match had even started! An investigation is in process as we speak led by our very own "Blind" Barry Ghostic! We will report if he actually is able to learn anything more!
The Undead received the kick in the 1st half and judging by their dominance of the line of slaughter seemed to be cruising on their way to a blood bowl victory. Bones Jackson scored his 2nd touchdown of the season, and not to be outdone Maxx Casualty scored his second massacre sending yet another player to the injury box!
But the second half of the blood bowl battle would show the resolve of these gutsy Amazon warriors! Down by a player they managed to slip through the grasp of countless zombies and scored a touchdown mid way through the second half! The Undead received the ball and looked to be comfortably moving up the pitch, until one of the massive defensive blockers slipped out of the hands of a zombie and sacked the ball carrier in what was easily the play of the game!
These Undead don't give in so easily, but when your hands are soaked in blood it can be hard to hold on to that ball as The Red Smile couldn't get possession even though he had a clear lane to the end zone!
The blood bowl game ended in what we can only imagine as a disappointment for both teams in a 1-1 draw.
Blood Bowl Coach Scary Silver : "I felt like we had them in the palm of our hands, especially after the hit....I mean tragic, unfortunate accident our opponents suffered before the game."
Blood Bowl Coach Maxx Casualty : "Well you know we didn't get the win. I'm sure we will regroup and come back stronger. We are a good team and we are just gonna have to break one leg at a time."
Blood Bowl: Dark Elves welcome Kandi's Khorne
On the Home Pitch of Scyrah's Shredders, the Dark Elves welcomed Kandi's Khorne to the Sweltering Heat of Week 1 Blood Bowl. The Shredders kicked things off with a Blitz, and Dark Elf Blitzer Aramil scored the first Casualty!
The Elves forced a turnover, and after a fumbled pass went the right direction, the Shredders began their 3-0 TD rush. In Spite of early ball trouble, the Shredder"s experienced runner Ivellios managed 3 passing completions.
Returning Witch Elf, Lilith managed a TD, but she and Sariel need to stop solo die blocking, as it always comes up player down. This was all about the Blitzers tho, as between the 4 of them, they put 3 in the casualty box, and scored 2 Touchdowns.
MVP and Veteran Blitzer Varis took left one Khorne lineman shucked and down with a niggling injury he wont soon forget. The Shredders are back this blood bowl season, and are starting it off with a bloodbath, scoring 6 league points!
Blood Bowl: Amazons vs Orks
Well boys and ghouls the Blood Bowl league has kicked off and blood has drawn! Korpse-a Kai met the plucky newcomers O.F.F. in the first blood bowl league match of the season! The rust was clearly showing on the Underground team, as O.F.F.'s intrepid Ogre, Onion managed to send both Zombie Sharon Needles and Mummy The Inevitable off the pitch with injuries!
The Korpses managed to regroup and the Ghoul known as The Red Smile scored his first of two touchdowns! This was definitely a game of two halves, as the late score seemed to send a shock through this tough Human team. Well a shock, as well as two consecutive kickoffs where the Undead decided to ignore those pesky rules and attack the team before the ball even landed! There was blood in the air, and if these guys had noses, I'd say they smelled it!
Bones Jackson put the ball into the end zone late in the second half of the Blood Bowl match to earn Korpse-a Kai a 3-0 victory! They take home 5 league points, and have clearly sent a message to the rest of the league! That message? I think The Red Smile said it best when he said "GRRRREUUUUUUUUUUUUU"

Blood Bowl: Other Results
Sarus Smashers vs Ice Breaker Bandits winner with 5 league points, saurus Smashers. Ice Breakers caused 1 causalty.
The Dastardly Drunkards and the Sepulchra Stalkers faced off. The match was a slaughter each side scoring at least 3 casualties. The final score was DD 3-0 SS. Drunkards securing 6 league points and the Stalkers gaining 1. The Drunkards Yeti really rained down the hurt with his ferocius claws putting the Tomb Kings Liche-Priest hard at work reconstructing a Tomb Guardian and Brutalizing a Blitzer beyond repair. To say the least the Dastardly Drunkards sure know how to beat a dead horse!
A friendly match was held in the Chaos Conference between the Lizardmen and Tomb Kings. The final result being a 2-1 win for the Tomb Kings. The fans were out in droves to support their teams netting both sides a hefty sum of gold for their treasuries. One Lizardmen player had an astounding performance during the 2nd half, managing to 2die uphill block the Tomb Kings ball carrier and scurry away towards the end zone! On the Tomb Kings side. Blitzer Araphos caused 3 casualties during this “friendly match”. The Tomb Kings Necrotect coach has this to say “Ever since his performance during our first match his attitude completetly changed.” Its seems like this Lone blitzer has been training above his weight class, from the looks of it he may start out punching his Tomb Guardian teammates soon.
